This is my first attempt with cold wax. It is a wax paste that you blend with oil colors and apply with a pallet knife. I really like the feel of this medium and it is great when you don’t want to heat up the studio with encaustic. These were taken from photographs I took on my trip to Greece last year. “Ionian Sunrise” and “Ionian Sunset”. Both 14 x 17.
